NUTRA - Color Indicator Neutralizer. Stripping floors is the most labor intensive process in floor maintenance process. Alkaline stripping residue can remain on floors even after several clear water rinses. If this happens and new seals and/or finishes are applied, they can release form the floor or may cause dulling problems. In either case, re-stripping will be required to correct this problem. NUTRA color indicator neutralizer will visually show you the floor is pH neutral. After stripping, remove stripped solution by using a wet/dry vacuum, auto-scrubber or wet mop over the entire treated area(s). Next add 2 ounces to each gallon of water in a mop bucket. (This will give the water a reddish color). Dip a clean cotton mop into this solution. Apply a medium wet mopping solution directly to the treated area. As you mop, the alkaline stripping solution will cause the mop ends to turn to a yellow color. When this happens, return the wet mop to the bucket to re-charge the neutralizer. Continue this process until the water in the bucket starts to turn to a yellow color. Rinse out the bucket, add water and again add 2 ounces for each gallon of water. After neutralizing the entire area, rinse with a clean mop and hot water. When the floor is dry, apply seal and/or finish as directed by the manufacturer.
